The 3rd Annual Illinois Technical Assistance Projects Virtual Institute (ITAPS) will feature practical, strategy-focused sessions for educators who support students with IEPs, including general and special education teachers, instructional coaches, interventionists, related service providers, paraprofessionals, and administrators. Topics include instructional strategies, executive function, behavior, data, transition, autism, and more.
This year’s keynote, Reviving the Art of Explicit Instruction, will be presented by Dr. Zach Groshell, author of Just Tell Them. We’re also excited to welcome back Dr. Nakia Douglas for the Chew and Chat session.
New this year is a dedicated strand for instructional coaches. With more than 50 sessions available, there’s something for everyone.
Administrators seeking schoolwide PD will find flexible options. Educators can attend one, several, or all six sessions based on their needs. PDHs will be awarded for each session.
