Current Opening: Assistive Technology Specialist

This position is funded through the Department of Human Services, Division of Rehabilitation Services and is responsible for conducting assistive technology evaluations, training, and support for DRS customers statewide.

Qualifications/Preferred Skills:

    • Degree in rehabilitation, education, special education, or other related fields, or equivalent experience
    • RESNA ATP Certification required (can be acquired within first 6-12 months of employment)
    • Experience with¬†computers and information access technologies and software; workplace accommodations and modifications; ergonomics; other vocational-related assistive technologies
    • Excellent oral and written skills
    • Commitment to IATP Mission
    • Sensitivity to issues related to individuals with disabilities
